The main function of this committee is to handle complaints pertaining to discrimination and sexual harassment. It signifies the institution's acknowledgment of the importance of providing mechanisms for preventing and redressing such issues and ensuring a work or study environment free from harassment for all individuals involved.
The key functions of ICC are as follows
Managing Complaints: The committee is responsible for receiving, looking into, and resolving complaints pertaining to discrimination or sexual harassment that occur within the company or establishment.
Raising Awareness: committee members informing staff members or students about their rights, how to report incidences, and how to stop harassment. To create awareness among the students various activities conducted by college.
Investigation: If any grievances or complaints received then investigation of complaints takes place. Committee members solves the case by maintaining confidentially.
Providing Support: Offering support and guidance to those who have experienced harassment or discrimination, ensuring a safe environment for reporting without fear of retaliation.
Development of women is necessary in today's world so that women can walk with confidence in all spheres of life. WDC tries to give its helping hand for the same. To make women well equipped with knowledge, skill and awareness about each and every aspect of life so that women is able to make correct decisions of life. 4. Financial Independence - Guiding them through Counselling for Career Guidance through experts. Arranging job melas in campus.
5. Stress Management Session by Experts.
6. Converting INTROVERT students into EXTROVERT by involving them in activities and assigning them duties.
7. Solving Problems of Staff, non - staff and girls students with help of higher authorities.
8. Awareness about women's rights mentioned in our constitution through poster making competitions and views about women.
