INTERCOLLEGIATE SHORT FILM COMPETITION

The Theater Event “Spotlight”, organized by the VM Theatre Committee, was successfully conducted on 22nd January 2026, marking a vibrant milestone for both students and faculty. The event celebrated the performing arts by promoting creativity and appreciation for drama, dance, mono acts, skits, mime acts, and musical performances,as a dynamic platform for students to explore their talents and bring artistic ideas to life. Also the unveiling of the VM THEATER logo. The event featured a powerful welcome dance symbolizing nari shakti and a series of engaging performances by students from various departments, reflecting social themes and personal narratives. The day concluded with the Intercollegiate Short Film Festival Competition 2026, where five short films were screened and prizes awarded to recognize cinematic excellence. Overall, the event laid a strong foundation for a vibrant cultural atmosphere on campus, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to nurturing creativity and artistic expression.
