Entrepreneurship Development Workshop on Dish Wash Detergent Making AY 2025-26

The Department of Humanities, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of our college, organized an Entrepreneurship Development Workshop on Dish Wash Detergent Making on 11th August 2025 at the Life Science Lab (Room No. 310). The workshop commenced at 9:00 a.m.

The resource person for the session was Ms. Madhia Shaikh, Research Associate at Hindustan Unilever, who guided the students through both theoretical and practical aspects of detergent formulation. She explained the chemistry behind detergents, their cleaning mechanism, and the importance of quality standards in household products.

The workshop was designed as a hands-on training program where students were actively involved in preparing dish wash detergent. They learned about the ingredients, mixing process, safety precautions, and packaging techniques. Ms. Shaikh also emphasized how such skills can be transformed into entrepreneurial opportunities, encouraging students to consider small-scale ventures in household chemical products.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who not only gained technical knowledge but also understood the relevance of innovation and self-employment in today’s competitive world. The interactive discussions and demonstrations made the workshop both engaging and informative.
