Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vande Mataram College, Dombivli (W) on 26th November 2025. The day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th November 1949 and aims to create awareness about constitutional values among citizens.
On this occasion, students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff gathered at the college ground. The programme began with an introduction explaining the significance of the Indian Constitution and the valuable contribution of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar as the chief architect of the Constitution.
Dr. Rajkumar Kolhe, President of JMF’S, led the ceremony by reading the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. All present stood attentively and recited the Preamble together, reaffirming the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and strengthening the spirit of unity and democracy.
