JMF Dhwani RJ Workshop was conducted on 5 August 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the JMF Studio. The workshop was organised to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to the skills required for radio jockeying and radio presentation.
The session was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Shasne, who shared valuable insights into the world of radio and the role of an RJ. He explained various aspects of effective radio presentation, including voice modulation, pronunciation, clarity, confidence, communication skills and engaging the audience through interesting content.
The workshop also helped students understand the importance of spontaneity, creativity and appropriate use of language while hosting a radio programme. The resource person interacted with the students and encouraged them to actively participate and develop their own RJ style.
The workshop was an informative and enriching experience for the students. It provided them with practical exposure and enhanced their confidence and communication skills. The session concluded with an interaction between the students and the resource person.
The JMF Dhwani RJ Workshop was a valuable learning experience and successfully introduced students to the practical aspects of radio jockeying and radio broadcasting.
