The Women Development Cell (WDC), in collaboration with the IT Department, organized a Nail Art Workshop on 10th August 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Conference Room 501. The workshop was organized with the objective of providing students with an opportunity to learn the basics and practical techniques of nail art, while encouraging creativity, grooming skills, and self-expression.
The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Sneha Mhashilkar, an accomplished Master Beautician and Beauty and Wellness Trainer. She brought her expertise and practical experience to the session and provided the participants with valuable insights into the art of nail decoration and professional nail care.
The workshop commenced with a warm welcome to the resource person and the participants. Ms. Sneha Mhashilkar introduced the participants to various aspects of nail art, including basic nail care, preparation of nails, selection and handling of nail art tools, colour combinations, designs, and different techniques used to create attractive nail art. She also demonstrated various nail art techniques, making the session highly interactive and engaging.
The participants showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the practical demonstrations. The hands-on nature of the workshop enabled them to understand the techniques better and encouraged them to experiment with their own creative designs.
The workshop proved to be an informative and enriching experience for the participants. It not only enhanced their knowledge of nail art and beauty care but also provided them with an opportunity to explore creativity and develop a skill that can potentially contribute to personal grooming as well as future entrepreneurial opportunities.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Ms. Sneha Mhashilkar for sharing her expertise and to the WDC and IT Department for organizing the workshop. The successful conduct of the workshop reflected the institution's commitment to promoting skill development, creativity, confidence, and holistic development among students.
